Background
S.E.H Kelly makes garments with the makers of the British Isles. The best mills and factories in the Isles, these makers — and, with them, every cloth is woven, and every garment is made, with the unerringly high standards, and the inimitable sturdiness, of the best British make.

Garments are designed at the S.E.H Kelly workshop in London. Garment patterns are then developed; the wisdom of some of the best-schooled pattern-cutters in the city put to good use. Cloths, meanwhile, are woven on the looms of the best regional mills — provenance running the length and breadth of the Isles. Time then for patterns and cloths to be acquainted, with garments cut, sewn, and hand-finished in local factories. Each is a specialist maker of one type of garment — and thus every jacket, trouser, and shirt is made by hands that know, from years at the top of the trade, how to make it best.
Having spent years on Savile Row, working with the most distinguished mills and factories in the country, the route seems a sensible one — with tried and tested partnerships to build on, and new ones to strike up, over the months and years ahead.
