It’s mid-July — the height of summer in the books of most right-thinking people — but things are already winding down with Preface, the small set of garments put together for Spring and Summer.

Intended as an introduction to the label, getting the ball rolling, bedding production down, and serving as something of a marker for collections to come, the garments of Preface have gone beyond expectations in the online store, thanks largely to having wound their way across the blogosphere. For that, there are a few people and sites to be thanked. An incomplete list, no doubt. There’s no link or press section on the site, but if there were, all of the above would be present. For any brand, not least one that’s been going less than a year, the time and interest of bloggers is invaluable — so, again, cheers all.
