The shirt is made from a lightweight, grey and white striped cotton poplin, from a mill in Cumbria — note that the grey has a tinge of light blue. The fabric is crisp and fairly tightly woven, and has been washed to soften its handle. The buttons are made from real corozo, and have been manufactured in the Midlands.
The garment is made and finished in London.
