Cord overshirt with a small point collar. It has a seam-to-seam fold-down chest detail, and an up-and-under pocket on the left side as worn.
The overshirt is made from a mid-weight, ten-wale corduroy, which is 100% cotton, sourced from Lancashire. It has a soft nap, is “nearly black” in colour — very dark grey — and is cut horizontally rather than the usual vertical. The garment is half-lined with black organic cotton.
The buttons are real horn. They are dark matte tortoiseshell in colour, and are made at a 150-year old button factory in the Midlands.
The garment is made and finished in London.
